A clip from a speech Obama gave in Kogelo Keyna on July 16, 2018. Did the truth just slip out?

An article in the UK Daily Mail had the following title, “Black 12-year-old boy mowing lawns for the summer has the POLICE called on him by a customer’s neighbor”. They followed it with a quick summary of the article which included, “It is similar to another incident in San Francisco, where a white woman dubbed ‘Permit Patty’ called the cops on a black girl, 8, for selling bottles of water.” OK, if you don’t go any further you are now left with the impression that those horrible, racist people in America are once again discriminating against a poor little black kid. If you continue scanning the article, it becomes apparent that this is not true. Further down in the article, …
Anti-Trump Artists Fill A Room With Vermin (and they brought some rats with them too)
The New York Daily News reports that the guerrilla art group, Indecline rented a hotel room at the Trump International Hotel on Central Park West and filled it with rats, McDonald’s wrappers and a Donald Trump impersonator as part of a so called art exhibit. They also displayed pictures of some of their heroes on the walls, including such greats as Communist Party Leader Angela Davis, Western civilization hating professor Howard Zinn and multi-millionaire socialist, Noam Chompsky. This obviously wasn’t art and these obviously aren’t artists (although I’m sure many on the confused left would feel otherwise.) These are nothing more than dangerous children, holding their breath and throwing a temper tantrum because they didn’t get their way in the …
You would think with all that global warming they keep talking about it would be a little warmer around here. At 7 AM this morning, it’s minus two degrees Fahrenheit. It seems like it should be a bit warmer for December 28th. Anytime I bring this sort of thing up with a ‘believer’, they tell me ‘that’s weather, not climate.’ Maybe, but we seem to be getting an awful lot of cold weather and snow these past couple of years and at some point I would think that it becomes climate. I also don’t understand why I should trust predictions for fifty years in the future when they can’t accurately predict what the weather is going to be two or …
One of my neighbors in the next town over was trying to recruit volunteers to help out at the National Day of Mourning in Plymouth on Thanksgiving. From his posting: “Since 1970, Native Americans and our supporters have gathered at noon on Cole’s Hill in Plymouth to commemorate a National Day of Mourning on the US thanksgiving holiday. Many Native Americans do not celebrate the arrival of the Pilgrims and other European settlers. Thanksgiving day is a reminder of the genocide of millions of Native people, the theft of Native lands, and the relentless assault on Native culture. Participants in National Day of Mourning honor Native ancestors and the struggles of Native peoples to survive today. It is a day …
Any time I’m feeling down I just watch this… Instantly happy. Works every time.
A boy mowing the lawn is about American as apple pie. For a great many of us it was the first job we had when we were growning up. Earlier this week, we were treated to the story of Frank Giaccio, an eleven year old from Falls Church Virginia, who wrote President Trump saying that it would be his “honor to mow the White House lawn.” The president took him up on his offer and Gaiccio did the job telling Fox News, “So far it’s pretty much the best day of my life.” Nice story. Hard working, self starter, showing ambition and drive. A story that should make everyone happy. Not so, Steven Greenhouse, former labor reporter for the New …
Page Six on the New York Post website did and article called “Here’s how much stars have donated toward Harvey relief efforts.’ Their list includes: J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans who raised $15.4 million through an online fund-raiser. Ellen Degeneres – $1 million (to Watt’s charity). Drake – $200,000 (to Watt’s charity). N.Y. Giants – $1 million. Sandra Bullock – $1 million. Leonardo DiCaprio – $1 million. Miley Cyrus – $500,000. Tyler Perry – $1 million. The Kardashians $500,000. Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez – $50,000. Miranda Lambert – saved 100 plus dogs. They also go on to say that sixty-three companies have pledged $1 million or more. Every generous, although, one person was curiously missing from the list; …
President Trump was attacked last week when he said there were bad actors on both side. The Democrats, the Media and some Republicans denounced him for daring to say there were bad people on the Left. The message posted yesterday on the Boston Anitfa Facebook page couldn’t be clearer. “There is no room for capitalists, conservatives, libertarians, “classical liberals” or supporters of the US constitution in our city. You MUST leave.”
Love this comment by PapayaSF on an article over at the Instapundit site: “The DNC’s platform of more gun control, more government, more Obamacare, more illegal aliens, more Muslim refugees, and an alliance with the cop-haters of BLM was inexplicably unpopular among many Americans in 2016, so Democrats have decided to switch to an anti-free speech, anti-statue, pro-Antifa platform. That should work.”
